I'm feeling very sad and helpless watching the tragic news reports about the mass migration of refugees.

Locally here people are asking people to donate clothes (particularly needed are unwanted or outgrown coats and waterproofs - including footwear.). Also tents and sleeping bags. One organisation wanted non perishable food but the other two say no food. Money always good for fuel and costs involved in distribution.
It's an awful situation :-(. I wish all countries were safe from persecution for people to live in.
Yes there are some collections for clothes etc here now too. So many natural challenges to survive, like the recent floods in Japan and massive fires in Australia that it really is awful that there are wars and persecution too!
