Ants are fascinating and well done her for shifting her focus in her shrunken world. The biggest loss moving into end of life care is not your belongings it's control of your own time! I ...I really don't know what happens with time. I never have enough spare. My own fault really for booking too much in.

I read a fascinating article once by a writer who had moved from her house to a small room in a nursing home. A very nice nursing home but still a wrench to leave her house and disperse her belongings. She has no family so decided to make the move once the room became available rather than risk needing to move with little notice and finding no room for her where she wanted to go. She noted that as her world shrank, so the littlest things assume a magnitude you wouldn't have thought possible before. Hence little problems or slights get swelled upon. She took it upon herself to be fascinated by ants, watching them progress in their work. She watched them for hours.

Really hope you get your aches and everything sorted soon.
